Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for Batching Operatives to join or Grimsby Recipe Dish site who are the sole supplier of fresh and chilled ‘best in class’ soups predominantly for M&S. This purpose-built site currently employs around 200 people, whilst turning over £30 million. This site is a fast paced, dynamic and ‘no two days the same’ environment; making it a great place to work.

Main Responsibilities

Batching the required weight of raw materials into totes ready for the next stage of the production process.
Throughout the process check the quality of the raw materials, ensure traceability is recorded at all stages and follow the allergen/non-allergen procedures, reporting any issues to the Quality team.

The Ideal Candidate

Have knowledge of computers and SAP would be advantageous.
Able to work as part of a team.
Able to use own initiative.
Experience of stock control/management.
Attention to detail is key in this area.
Foreign body control through the sorting of fresh and frozen materials.
